Sadieville is a home rule-class city in Scott County, Kentucky, in the United States. The population was 263 during the year 2000 U.S. Census. It is part of the Lexington-Fayette Metropolitan Statistical Area.HistorySadieville is a railroad town, having grown up after the Cincinnati Southern Railroad was built through the area in 1876. The post office was established in 1878 and named for Sarah Martha "Sadie" Emison Pack, a respected local.
