Our Mission

Safe Harbor Easton is a transitional homeless shelter dedicated to empowering and educating homeless men and women and to helping them to achieve a better way of life. To that end, Safe Harbor Easton provides safe, secure housing and case management for all clients. It is our mission to see that everyone who comes to us is given the means and opportunity to live a life of fulfillment and recovery.

During their stay at Safe Harbor Easton, residents have the opportunity to

Learn new problem-solving skills
Stabilize their incomes
Assess their job skills
Look for job training
Have medical exams
Find suitable permanent housing

The Shelter

By day, Safe Harbor Easton is a sanctuary for low income adults seeking a place to gather for meals and to obtain support services such as case management and referrals to local providers in the Lehigh Valley. By night, it is an emergency and short term transitional shelter for homeless single men and women. Safe Harbor Easton currently houses 22 men and 12 women. Shelter residents are permitted to stay for a period of 60-120 days while they strive to achieve self sufficiency.
