Saint Catherine Labouré School

Founded in 1949 by the Daughters of Charity, Saint Catherine Labouré School is a Pre-K through 8th grade Catholic elementary school educating nearly 400 students in Harrisburg, PA. Under the watchful care of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Sisters of Christian Charity, and dedicated lay teachers, we are proud to partner with parents and guardians in the academic and spiritual formation of our students.

Our curriculum follows the guidelines of the Diocese of Harrisburg, which are based on a strong Catholic identity and current national standards. Our solid math and science programs offer a hands-on approach, utilizing labs and manipulatives. Students participate in a Science Fair, History Day, Diocesan Spelling and Geography Bees. Spanish is offered in grades 4-8.

St. Catherine’s students enjoy participation in various extra-curricular activities including: Art Club, Basketball, Beginner and Concert Band, Cheerleading, Choir, Hand Chime Ensemble, Soccer, Track and Field, a Spring Musical and Yearbook Club.

We are blessed to have a fully equipped technology lab and school-wide wireless capability. Our cafeteria offers a hot lunch every day. Our afterschool program is staffed by faculty and is available for daily or weekly use.
