St. James is a town in Brunswick County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 3,165 at the 2010 census, up from 804 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area.GeographySt. James is located in southern Brunswick County at. It is bordered to the south, west, and north by the town of Oak Island.
