In 2013, Saint John's pastor was ruthlessly and shamefully removed from office by two of the last remaining members, who were living in unrepentant homosexual sin. This was done because Saint John's was going to gain a new member, and their plan to run the church in spite of their unrepentantly sinful lifestyles was coming to an end. Saint John's, the founding place of the Synodical Conference, now ceases to exist as a place where Christ's Gospel is proclaimed. It is a tragic end for the "mother church" of Wisconsin Synod Presidents Bading and Brenner, where the Synodical Conference was founded.
