Saint Joseph's Church

We extend our warmest welcome! We are a Roman Catholic Carmelite parish belonging to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany under the authority of Most Rev. Howard Hubbard, Bishop of Albany, and His Holiness, Pope Francis. Our purpose is to hear, preach, and practice the Word of God as it is contained in the Holy Scriptures and Sacred Tradition of the Catholic Church. This evangelization is manifested also in Catholic social teaching as it applies to our diverse society. Our Catholic evangelization is demonstrated in the social justice of the Beatitudes as well. We prepare our parishioners to receive God’s Divine Life through the Holy Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, the Eucharist, Confirmation, Matrimony, Holy Orders, and Sacrament of the Sick. Additionally, we help those vulnerable needy including the poorest of the poor: the needy unborn, through the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. Our bonds of friendship and fellowship are built through the ordinary and extraordinary forms of the liturgy, triduums, parish groups, and social events that strengthen and promote our friendship and union in Christ.
