St. Paul's Church is a Parish in the county-seat of Mount Vernon for Knox County, Ohio, some 50 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. One of the oldest Parishes in the Diocese of Ohio, St. Paul's has been providing mission and ministry in the great midwest since 1829. Long an incubator for local ministries, it has supported, helped form, and housed organizations like the Winter Sanctuary Emergency Homeless Shelters and the Inter-Church Social Services of Knox County.
"Sunday Suppers" at St. Paul's have long served the community a free hot meal each Sunday evening, come rain, shine or snow. The Supper, held in the Parish House Community Hall, provides not only a hot meal, but a gathering place for the community.
Through regular worship services -- word and sacrament, Bible study and Christian education, mission and ministry, St. Paul's demonstrates the teachings and values of Jesus Christ. While working in the troubles and the joys of the world, St. Paul's Parish holds out the hope of the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ.
