I decided to open Salem Ink to provide a friendly, professional and fun environment where people can come and get quality artwork. Over the years I have walked into many shops across the United States and had the displeasure of being treated unprofessionally. Often being ignored or having ideas made fun of, because the artist or artists felt like the work was beneath them. Many times I got the impression that if I was not willing to drop close to a grand on a large piece I was not worth their time. Often feeling rushed out the door as soon as money had changed hands.

Once I started tattooing back in 2007 I realized many people had the same unpleasant experiences. So when I decided to open Salem Ink, I wanted to create a place where anyone would be comfortable getting work. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to do a large scale design or just looking to get something small for your first tattoo. Both you and your ideas will be treated with the highest level of respect and professionalism. We will always do our best to work with you and with your budget the best we can.
