Salerno Strings

Welcome to the music studio of Salerno Strings! After graduating college in 2002 at Western Washington University with a BA in Music Education, I moved to my husband Alex’s hometown on the Big Island, where I have been teaching music both in the schools and in my private studio since 2003. I teach a wide range of instruments including piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, voice, ukulele, guitar, and steel drum. This year, I am also excited to offer my new PreSchool of Rock Making Music Together classes for babies/toddlers from birth-5 years. In addition to being a music teacher, I am also a mother to our young son Alistair, who is now 3.5 years old.
