If you are new to Salon R, your experience begins with a required consultation with the Stylist of your choice. Taking into consideration the look that you would like to achieve and the nature of your hair, your stylist will work with you to decide on the best suited style and color techniques for you. We always recommend adding a hair care treatment to any chemical service. All services are "a la carte" so this allows you and your stylist to choose the services best suited to achieve your desired results. At the end of the consultation, the Receptionist will set up an appointment for you on your preferred day and time.

Also, if you are interested in booking hair services for your bachelorette party, bridal shower, wedding day, family pictures, girls day out, baby shower or any occasion that you can dream of, we offer those services as well. All you have to do is call the Salon at 205-248-7854 and our Receptionist can set-up a consultation appointment for you to discuss your needs and our prices.

Salon R Announcements: Beginning Oct 3rd, we will require a $50 deposit from all clients booking lengthy services. The deposit must be paid at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. After your appointment, the $50 will be applied to the total amount of your services. This will only apply to faux locs, box braids and sew-ins at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience that this new policy may cause, but we find it necessary to enforce this rule due to an increase in no call/no show/last minute cancellations.

Ways to pay: For your convenience, you may pay in person with cash, debit or credit card. No checks. You can also pay via PayPal by sending the $50 to salonr13@gmail.com and in the note/memo section, put your name and stylist's name. You may also pay via Square Register.

Cancellations: we understand that plans may change, circumstances arise and life happens. If you have paid your deposit and need to cancel your appointment, it must be canceled no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment in order to receive your deposit returned to you. For example, if your appointment is on Saturday at 10am, you must call to cancel no later than 10am on Friday, otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited.

If you are going to be more than 10 mins late for your appointment, please give us a call and let us know. If your arrival time will cut into the next person's scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later time or another day. Or, your appointment will be treated as a walk-in, where you will have to be worked into your Stylist's schedule.

As a reminder, multiple no call/no show/last minute cancellations, deposit or not, will result in you not being able to book appointments anymore here at Salon R.
