Our founders, Betsy and JP, wanted to start a business that let them create together. What began with Betsy imprinting flowers into ceramic plates has branched into many specialties. Here at Salt Marsh Pottery, we make ceramic impressions and are known particularly for our prints of babies’ hands and feet. These pieces give parents a tangible and beautiful record of their child at an oh- so- fleeting moment. They put them on the wall in a bedroom, kitchen or hall and greet them with increasing wonder as their children grow and outstrip this tile of tiny hands and feet. “Was I really that little, Dad?” Our focus is on bringing the people in our community a memory that never fades.
