HOW DOES IT WORK?
SBF delivers all the freshly prepared foods you need to feed your baby.
Whether your child is starting solids or is mainly eating solids, you'll find a plan that meets your baby's needs. We offer this service with OUT subscription plans there is ZERO commitment and no hidden fees. We do the menu planning, preparing and cooking and deliver the food right to your doorstep. With SBF BabyME foods, you'll have the confidence that your child is getting everything they need nutritionally and you'll have more quality time to spend with your loved ones. Raising a kid is tough enough! Let us take care of the food.

DELIVERY
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN DELIVERIES?
In each package, you will receive your order of food, and instructions.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?
Currently we are only servicing select neighborhoods - Bangor, Hampden, Newburgh, Winterport, Brewer, Unity, and Frankfort, hopefully we will be at your local farmers market or in mail order soon!

HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE FOOD?
We deliver via local courier to your doorstep.
Do I have to be present when the food is delivered?
YES! Because the food is frozen it must be placed in the freezer immediately. Please note- our drivers MAY NOT leave baby food unattended. If no one is present at the time of delivery, the order will be re-delivered at your expense. Once the order has been delivered, Salted Butter Farm is not responsible for items left to spoil.
How long can BabyME Baby Foods be frozen?
The order will be delivered frozen and has a frozen shelf life of 6 months. Once thawed, it can be refrigerated 3 days.

WHAT TIME WILL MY FOOD ARRIVE?
Deliveries occur in the evenings on Sunday ( Newburgh, Winterport, Frankfort, Hampden and Unity) and Wednesday ( Bangor, Brewer, Hampden and Newburgh). Our available delivery window is from 5pm to 8pm.
How do I order and is there a minimum?
You simply order online by emailing satedbutterfarm@gmail.com - A paypal invoice will be sent to you!, or you can simply select to pay cash at delivery!. Select your items, choose your delivery day preference ( if available), pay online using secure payment services from PayPal. or cash at delivery! It’s that easy! Orders must be placed 48 hours prior to delivery. There is a $20 minimum per order..

Is BabyME food just for babies?
Absolutely not! While Stage 1 and Stage 2 labels do specify suggested ages, you may choose to feed your toddler or even YOURSELF our delicious food! If your toddler is struggling with eating fruits and vegetables, BabyME is a wonderful option because it tastes and looks so appealing! And if your toddler is a big brother or sister, include him/her in the feeding process and we know he/she will want to taste it soon!
Do you offer your baby food in convenient pouches?
Not yet! Hopefully soon!
Do you offer a discount to moms of multiples?
Absolutely! We love moms of multiples, as the owner is one too!! Please email us at saltedbutterfarm@gmail.com for more information.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Give the perfect gift to a new parent or expecting family! Fresh, all-natural baby food crated by professional chefs delivered right to their door! It is also a great “thank you” gift, baby shower gift, work place incentive, christening gift or the perfect opportunity for a spouse to “treat” his/her loved one. Purchase a gift certificate in $20 increments and we will send it to you or the intended recipient. Gift certificates do not expire!

Rule of thumb…
Always consult your pediatrician prior to beginning any new food for your infant. Think about following the 4 day wait rule when introducing a new food to baby- offer your baby the same new food for 4 days to test for allergies to that food.

WHAT KIND OF INGREDIENTS ARE USED? IS THIS PRODUCT ORGANIC? LOCALLY SOURCED?
Our ingredients are raw, whole, fresh, local when possible, seasonal, high-quality and organic.
WILL MY CHILD GET ALL THE ESSENTIAL VITAMINS AND MINERALS.
Yes! We have designed these meals to retain the incredible nutritional properties and their essential vitamins and minerals without preservatives . That way you can be sure that for every ounce of food that your child is eating is nutritious. We are also low in sugar to help you child develop a more sophisticated palette that isn't dependent on processed, high in sugar foods.
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Yes. we cater to a wide range of dietary preferences. All of the ingredients and dietary attributes are specified for each item on our menu to make it easy to find the dishes that align with your personal preferences. Such as: Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy-Free, Gluten-free, Soy-free, and Nut-free. Please e-mail us at saltedbutterfarm@gmail.com if your baby has any dietary issues.
We also never, ever, add processed sugars or salt
DOES YOUR FOOD CONTAIN NUTS?
No, we do not put nuts in our foods. However, our foods are prepared in facilities that also process some milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, wheat, soybeans, and other common allergens. If your child has a serious food allergy, you may want to contact us before ordering.
HOW IS THIS FOOD MADE?
All of our food is organic, seasonal, local as much as possible and prepared by professional chefs .
WHY DOES MY PRODUCT LOOK DIFFERENT FROM WHEN I LAST PURCHASED IT?
Our food is handcrafted using organic fruits and vegetables and some variations may occur as with any produce based on seasonality. We use no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

STORAGE
HOW LONG DOES IT STAY GOOD?
3 days. ( after thawing) Because this product is non-pasteurized, the shelf life is similar to that of fresh organic berries. Please consume within 3 days of thawing to ensure quality and safety. Remember to keep refrigerated and refer to the best by date on each container.
CAN I KEEP IT UN-REFRIGERATED.?
No. Because we believe that fresh is best, our food is not shelf stable and therefore must be refrigerated, or stay frozen. Please discard after opening.
HOW DO WE ENSURE FRESHNESS?
All our food is prepared fresh before delivery for maximum freshness and nutrition. It is then frozen to ensure nutrient retention for delivery and storage in your home. Each meal has a "best by" date indicated. In general, you can store each in the freezer up to 6 months. once thawed it is good for 3 days! Our meals are fresher than what you can find in the grocery store, so you can't expect the same shelf life. You should be pleased that the baby food isn't as old as your baby!
