Sweet is the Journey

I'm in a new season in of life, "The Empty Nest". I wondered, what am I going to do next, now that my kids have grown? Well, I’ve never had a problem finding something to do, ask anyone who knows me! I love to be outdoors, with kayaking, canoeing and hiking among many things I enjoy. I love to create, make new friends, and have fun in the process! I also find great joy in entertaining, and creating a welcoming atmosphere so my guests can relax and enjoy.
I live in such a beautiful place and my desire is to share it with others. So, I had an idea ....what better place to share all the things I love , than my own home. I thought, wouldn't it be so much fun to host creative gatherings? After all, I’d been enjoying creative art and crafts for over 40 years. That was the spark that set me in motion (plus my husband was on board too, that helped). Lo and behold, Sweet is the Journey was born and I'm excited to take this sweet journey with you !
