Sam Houston Orchestra

The Sam Houston Texan Orchestrais in it's 43rd year. Rose Waldorf was at the helm for the first 40 of those years. The orchestra program is currently under the direction of Kristi Tollefson and Les Sellers. The orchestra program is experiencing one of its most successful years in decades, with seven students making the All-Region Orchestras .There are string orchestras, one full orchestra, and the level of musical achievement and positive energy is extremely high across the program. We are taking a 42-student, composite string orchestra, to perform at a music festival in New Orleans, this April. #samside #sampride
