Owner New York Myke served as a Forward Air Controller in Vietnam directing air strike's for the Army's 101st Airborne Division. He is a life member of the Air Commando Association, the 101st Airborne Association, Rolling Thunder, China Post #1 American Legion, the VFW, is a member of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, The Special Operations Association, a life member of Abate of California, an honorary member of Wind and Fire Motorcycle Club and has been inducted into the Sturgis Freedom Fighter Hall of Fame. New York Myke rides with the Patriot Guard and is dedicated to repealing the helmet law and promoting motorcycling and freedom.

His oldest daughter Jen served overseas as a Communications Officer in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in 2000. She is now an Owner of San Diego Harley-Davidson. Jen's husband Ty, Air Force Academy Class of 1999, is the General Manager of all 3 San Diego Harley locations. There are many more prior military on staff at San Diego Harley-Davidson in all departments at all locations!

San Diego Harley-Davidson supports our military for all they do to protect our freedom by hosting annual events such as blood drives, San Diego U.S.O. events and raising money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and The Wounded Warriors Foundation. San Diego Harley-Davidson has sent troops overseas more than 100,000 Harley T-shirts!
