The SFDR Website and Facebook are updated daily.
We depend on staff members from every campus and department to submit information about student and staff honors and events.

Email your submission, and please observe the following criteria:

• Photos should be sent as attachments (in focus and high-resolution quality) via e-mail to web_master@sfdr-cisd.org.

• Provide first and last names and grade level (if applicable) of all students, staff members, and other identifiable people in photo captions.

• Be sure to include as much information as possible (one to two paragraphs) about your event or program.

• Include the date of your event, if applicable.

• Do not submit pictures of children until a photo release form has been secured and filed with you or your school.

• For stories related to a holiday or special day (Red Ribbon Week, for example), please send submission within five days of the event.

We receive many submissions daily and work hard to post as many as possible. Please understand that it can take up to several days after submission for an item to be published.

Comments should not personally attack Students or Staff.

Photos are SFDR property and intellectual property of the photographer. You are encouraged to share and tag SFDR photos & posts. Posting the photos as your own or using SFDR property for purposes other than intended is not acceptable.

Moderation of Third Party Content
This agency social media site serves as a limited public forum and all content published is subject to monitoring. User-generated posts will be rejected or removed (if possible) when the content
• is off-subject or out of context
• contains obscenity or material that appeals to the prurient interest
• contains personal identifying information or sensitive personal information
• contains offensive terms that target protected classes
• is threatening, harassing or discriminatory
• incites or promotes violence or illegal activities
• contains information that reasonably could compromise individual or public safety
• advertises or promotes a commercial product or service, or any entity or individual
• promotes or endorses political campaigns or candidates

Public Records Law
Agency social media sites are subject to applicable public records laws. Any content maintained in a social media format related to agency business, including communication posted by the Agency and communication received from citizens, is a public record. The Department maintaining the site is responsible for responding completely and accurately to any public records request for social media content.
