This 2.2 mile hike in the Cleveland National Forest is quick and easy. There are scenic vistas of the San Juan Canyon and Ortega Falls. It includes a beautifully shady hike in old oak groves. Hikers and bikers are welcome here and parking only requires an Adventure Pass, $5 for day use or $30 for annual use. Adventure Passes are good for most national forests in Southern California. This is also the trailhead for Bear Canyon Trail to Sitton Peak.
