San Pasqual Reservation Fire Academy

The San Pasqual Reservation offers a Firefighter I Academy that is accredited by the Office of the California Sates Fire Marshal (SFM) and the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC). Upon successful completion of the academy; students will be eligible to receive their State of California Firefighter I certificate. Our 14-week Academy provides for 33 individual certifications, approximately 15.5 college units and is open to anyone who is at least 18 years of age. San Pasqual Reservation Fire Academy is the only fire academy in California to provide the IFSAC accreditation. This accreditation allows our cadets to compete for jobs in the United States and abroad. The college units earned can be applied to an Associates’ degree. The full time academy will be in session from 0600 to 1800 hours Monday through Saturday.
