I began my career in creative arts over 25 years ago. Starting out in the field of graphic arts and 35mm film, I soon transitioned to the digital era of photography which has enhanced my abilities not only to offer fine still shot photography, but some video as well.


My passion and interest for photography lead me to the Disney Company where I took on the role of a professional portraiture and event photographer. I served as a trainer where I had the opportunity to train other photographers to pursue their creative interests. While with the Disney company, I had the honor to also shoot along side the distinguished "Disney Yellow Shoes" media group.

Community service and humanitarian services have always been very important to me. Over the past years I have served as a LT in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. where I put together and directed 3 National Photojournalism trainings in cooperation with NIKON/USA.

I presently serve with Think Global Flight as the Media director. TGF is a wonderful STEM education program focused on helping students throughout the world to focus on thier dreams in life. Think Global Flight is the dream of Captain Judy Rice who has a strong passion to share education, encouragement and motivation to children and adults alike throughout the world. The project is supported by Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and other strong supporters for this very worthy project. (See THINK GLOBAL FLIGHT ) I am honored to be a part of this special project.



Other community service:



I have worked as a Sheriff Service Officer in Polk County on a voluntary basis and been involved in numerous community service type events which included setting up crime awareness events, Women's self-defense courses, Fraud and scam awareness seminars, senior citizen events, victim support and more.



Personal:

I am a mother of 6 talented and beautiful children. Needless to say, family is paramount to me and this is the reason that it is important to me to help other families connect through capturing the special moments of life to be shared throughout the years to come through photography.
