Sandhill Heights Baptist Church

Sandhill Heights Baptist Church is a growing Southern Baptist church located in Elgin, SC. We would love for everyone to check out what we're doing and come visit us any time.

We offer Sunday and Wednesday services and have recently added new classes. In addition to children and adult classes, we have split our youth into two classes as well as now offering a young adult class. After dinner at our Wednesday night services, we read a Bible passage together and then split into men and women study groups.

Our services are:
-Sunday School - 10am-11am
-Sunday service - 11am-12pm
-Wednesday supper and worship service - 6-8pm

In addition to church services we enjoy many other opportunities to fellowship together. We have a Woman's Missionary Union and Men's Brotherhood which meet monthly. We also host events such as Vacation Bible School annually, youth lock-ins (a.k.a. parent's night out), and many lunches and dinners for special events.

We are heavily involved in and supportive of mission work, both local and foreign. Here are some details about our mission projects:
~ Our youth and adults are engaged in a puppet ministry called God's Little Rascals which provides puppet shows multiple times a year. They perform their shows at events such as our church's nativity, fall festivals, nursing homes, and Easter parties. They also have a mobile church so that they can perform their songs and skits on the road, both in parades and throughout local neighborhoods.
~ We also participate in a program called Sacks of Love which provides food every weekend to less fortunate students at a local school.
~ We are also very supportive of Hanf Ministries which is a locally founded mission group which spreads the Gospel in Peru. We are fortunate enough to have the founder of Hanf Ministries as a member of our church because we have had the opportunity to hold various fund raisers, take mission trips to Peru, and be engaged in all the happenings of the Hanf Ministries mission trips.
~ A very special time of the year for our church's missions is Christmas because we hold a live nativity and Christmas puppet show that is open to the public. It's the biggest event we host annually and we love preparing for and performing as much as our audience enjoys watching. The whole church pitches in to participate and prepare for this special time in our church and it's always and great fellowship and bonding time for us.
~ Our church is also supportive of the Annie Armstrong Easter offering benefiting North American missions, Janie Chapman offering benefiting state missions, and Lottie Moon Christmas offering benefiting foreign missions.
