Oral Surgeon Gary T. Jones, DMD
Dr. Jones hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the distinction of “University Scholar.” He then completed his doctorate studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. His residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery was completed at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Jones then served his country as a staff surgeon at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. There he received The Meritorious Service Medal. He has been in private practice in North Carolina for the last 12 years. His practice’s primary focus has been jaw reconstructive surgery and dental implant placement. He has spent much of his career continuing his training with the leading doctors in implant dentistry. He is board certified in his specialty. He also enjoys lecturing about implant dentistry and is the founder and director of the Fayetteville Implant Dentistry Study Club and the Central Carolina Dental Continuum. He is also an adjunct associate professor at the UNC School of Dentistry

Oral Surgeon Gerald W. Beatty, DDS
Dr. Beatty hails from Norfolk, Virginia. His undergraduate studies were done at Old Dominion University. Dr. Beatty graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Washington. He completed his active duty as the Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. He has been in private practice for 13 years. Currently on staff at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Oral Surgeon Jeffrey S. Jelic, DMD
Dr. Jeffrey S. Jelic is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Virginia in addition to his degree in Dentistry from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine. He completed seven years of combined residencies in Hospital Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofical Surgery and General Surgery and then further refined his training in facial surgery with two additional fellowships. His first at the Center for Corrective Jaw Surgery at Santa Barbara emphasized orthognathic surgery and skeletal reconstruction of the face, and his second year at the Institute for Facial and Cosmetic Surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah was an intensive focus on facial cosmetic surgery. Before moving into private practice, Dr. Jelic was an Associate Professor and Director of Aesthetic Surgery for the UNC Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also spent eight years caring for our nation’s military veterans and teaching residents as Staff Surgeon at the Durham VA Hospital.

Glenn Gittelson, DDS
Dr. Gittelson is a general dentist. He graduated from Emory University’s School of Dentistry in 1983.
Dr. Gittelson has extensive ongoing training in the science of jaw joint diagnostics including TMJ MRI and CT interpretation. He received this training at the prestigious Piper Education and Research Center (PERC), St Petersburg, FL under the direct tutelage of Mark Piper, M.D, D.M.D.
Dr. Gittelson is the owner of the two US patents relating to the field of implant dentistry.
In 2002, Dr. Gittelson was the first recipient of the Dr. Charles E. English award for the most clinically relevant article published in the Journal Implant Dentistry.
He has been offering lectures and hands on courses on the science of TMJ diagnostics, occlusion and implant prosthetics for the last 15 years.
In 2014, Dr. Gittelson joined the Sandhills Oral and Maxillofacial surgical team to treat TMJ related disorders in children and adults.
