More about Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law

The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University is one of the country’s preeminent law schools. Ranked No. 25 nationally by U.S. News & World Report, ASU Law is a leading provider of comprehensive and personalized legal education. The law school also ranks in the top 20 for placing students in real lawyer jobs. ASU Law's new state-of-the-art home in downtown Phoenix, the Arizona Center for Law and Society, is steps away from the legal, political, and economic heart of Arizona, in the nation’s sixth-largest city.

ASU Law was founded in 1966 and renamed the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 2006. ASU Law boasts an Indian Legal Program that is arguably the best in the nation; houses the Center for Law, Science & Innovation, the oldest, largest, and by far the most comprehensive law and science center in the country; and the Center for Law and Global Affairs.

Beyond the traditional JD, ASU Law offers several concurrent degrees, including a JD/MBA with the W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU. A Master of Legal Studies (MLS) program gives non-lawyers an opportunity to develop needed legal skills to help them advance in their professional careers. ASU Law's latest MLS program is a Master in Sports Law & Business, the only such program in the nation. For more information, visit law.asu.edu
