Sandwich Council on Aging

The responsibility of the Council on Aging is to advocate on behalf of Sandwich elders age 60 + and their families in addressing their needs by identifying and developing resources of assistance; provide information, referral, outreach, nutrition and health services, in cooperation with other Town departments and area agencies; enhance quality of life for seniors and the community by providing educational, recreation, cultural programs and activities; and set policy for operation of the Senior Center with an eleven (11) member Advisory Board appointed by the Board of Selectmen.

Presently assist residents aged under 60 to access various assistance programs.
