My passion for straight razors started about 3 years ago when I purchased and began shaving with my first straight razor. I have now been restoring and hone these vintage works of art now for two full years. My razors are 50-150 years old, high quality Sheffield or Solingen steel. Occasionally, I'll also carry razors by fine French and American companies. My razors have typically been given new scales (handles), the blades carefully and progressively hand sanded to a mirror finish, and then honed to a shave ready condition on a progression of natural hones/stones. Each razor is tested for shavability and then disinfected. When you receive your razor, all you will need to do is open the package and begin using it. I also offer honing and restoration services for other heirloom barber items including brushes and safety razors. Each of my items is carefully restored with loving, filthy hands, and offered at a reasonable price so that they can once again be put into service.
