Sandywoods Farm

Sandywoods Farm is a unique intentional community established in 2010 on rolling farmland in rural Tiverton, Rhode Island. Fifty families interested in creating a sustainable community centered around the arts and farming have moved into newly constructed affordable rental housing clustered around more than a hundred acres of woodlands and open fields, all of which has been protected from development and is available to the residents of Sandywoods for farming, gardening, outdoor recreation, etc. Now that our boxes are unpacked, we are turning our attention to our very first community projects: planning for our spring garden, establishing an art gallery and a country store, making improvements to an art studio we have acquired . . .
