Dr. Jeffery B. Wheaton DDS, MD practices oral surgery and dental implantology in the Santa Fe, NM area. He is a board certified physician and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Wheaton, originally from Houston, TX, attended the University of Texas at Austin, Louisiana School of Dentistry in New Orleans for his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, and obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Miami in 1997.

In 2000, upon completion of his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, Dr. Wheaton and his family moved to New Mexico. He is past president of the Santa Fe District Dental Society and the New Mexico Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.


Dr. Douglas M. Reid, DMD, MD

We are pleased Dr. Douglas M. Reid has joined our practice in the summer of 2013. Originally from Washington, Dr. Reid received his undergraduate Neuroscience Degree from Brigham Young university, his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency and Medical Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

photo (1)Dr. Reid’s wife Christen is from Colorado, and they have two young children, Dillon and Fischer. Doug and Christen are both avid skiers and enjoy the many outdoor activities that New Mexico has to offer.
