Residents with damage to their home or property due to a weather related event may use the form found at http://santarosa.fl.gov/EmergencyNew/WebDamage.cfm to report the damage to Santa Rosa County officials. Damage information including photos posted on this site does not constitute an official submittal of damage; it must be completed online or by calling (850) 983-5360, as specific property information must be collected.

Santa Rosa County’s social media accounts are supplements, not a replacement, to traditional alert systems as notifications may not be immediate. The public should continue to monitor local media and equip their home and workplace with a NOAA Weather Radio.

Under Florida law, the Santa Rosa County Emergency Management Facebook page was established for county purposes of communicating emergency management related information to residents and to give the public a forum in which to discuss emergency management related topics relevant to the official business of the Santa Rosa County.

No political messages or advertising is allowed as the county neither endorses nor advocates such message or advertising.

All content on the county’s Facebook page is subject to the public records law, Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. By posting on a Santa Rosa County page, your information will be a matter of public record. The county is required to retain this information in accordance with the State of Florida retention schedule. This may include information on your own Facebook page.

Users post and comment to any social media site or platform of Santa Rosa County at their own risk. Santa Rosa County cannot assure that violations of this policy by external users will not occur. Content posted by other users on Santa Rosa’s social media pages does not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of Santa Rosa County.
