Santa Rosa French-American Charter School (SRFACS)

We are a group of dedicated parents living in Sonoma County, California with a desire to offer our children a solid education based on high academic standards and an opening to the global world. We believe that becoming a global citizen requires critical thinking, a strong academic foundation, and multiculturalism that will allow flexibility of the mind. Our dual-immersion French-American Charter School curriculum employs a formula with a proven track record in private schools, and as of this decade, with its charter school counterparts in the United States, especially on the East Coast. We are now extending this opportunity to everyone in our community in a free public charter school.

We are proud to be meeting a demand that has grown in our region, thanks to our diverse and ever growing economy in different sectors. We are fortunate to be drawing on the experience of our founding members, whom are leaders in the community in the fields of education, health/nutrition, and engineering, to name a few, to propel us in this exciting undertaking.

The Santa Rosa French American Charter School (SRFACS) will open in August 2012.
