SANTA’S WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Guests are first greeted by Mrs. Claus before they are escorted through the experience by one of our elves.
As you enter our first theater, you may smell Mrs. Claus’s bakery. (Santa believes a balanced diet is a chocolate chip cookie in each hand.) The short animated video in theater 1 will help you feel like you are traveling with Santa to the North Pole. Take a look at the train testing track.
Then you will move to our second theater where families will have their own photo opportunity as they pose around Santa’s antique sleigh, built in 1885. It may even snow. Don't forget your cameras.
Then off to our third set where you will see one of our elves bedrooms. Shh! Please be quiet, some of the elves worked hard last night so they may be sleeping.
Then it’s off to see the reindeer. It's too warm for reindeer in South Florida except on Christmas Eve, but we have the next best thing. We have some cute artificial reindeer and a live video feed of one of Santa’s helpers feeding real reindeer at the North Pole.
When you get to our fifth set you will see and touch our frozen North Pole and you can visit some of our snowmen. They may even come to life. Everyone in the group can participate in a snowball battle with our elves. Don't worry, our snowballs are artificial and soft so no one will get hurt or wet.
Then off to the Workshop where you will see the Elfinator, a 17 foot tall elf that keeps an eye on the elves and guests coming through Santa’s Workshop. This is where elves are building or testing or wrapping toys. Santa wants to make sure the toys will be fun for children to play with and will hold up so we try to test all of the toys. This is also one place that Santa reads his letters and checks the naughty or nice list.
Elf Austin is one of our elves that delivers supplies to the workshop using Santa’s antique backyard train. Visitors will see a small example of Santa's actual Workshop and some of the wooden toys and other items that were made there.
Next, a walk through Santa’s office, where you will see the hundreds of Christmas collectables, bells and walking staffs that Santa has acquired over the years.
Then guests will get an opportunity to see a animated miniature village complete with working trains that the elves have made in their spare time. It is a smaller version of the giant one that the elves have been building at the North Pole for hundreds of years.
Finally there is a visit with Santa in his living room where your family’s visit will be video taped and given to you on DVD.
Last but not least, you will return to Mrs. Claus to receive some cookies and treats. Again this is a family attraction so children of all ages will enjoy this experience.
