Sapelo River Retrievers

We started out this journey with an AKC yellow lab named "Jake" who changed our ways of hunting and our minds about labs and how amazing they can be in our lives. I could never be without a dog to hunt now!!! We love working with our Labs and only breed a few litters a year and strive to breed for better trainability, great looks, and healthier dogs. We breed mostly gun dog bloodlines and FC/hunt test bloodlines! We enjoy hunting our gun dogs and are always looking for ways to improve our program and dogs, as we are still learning too!! I believe that a person can never learn too much when it comes to training gun dogs!! We are new to the hunt test world and are learning so much and meeting so many knowledgable people out there. I love it and love the Labrador Retriever and hope that I can give them back as much love as they give me!!
