Sara Sutterfield: Independent Mary Kay Cosmetics Consultant

When I graduated college in the spring of 2014 with my BA in Psychology, I thought I would be working at Pine Rest until I started Grad School. As fate would have it however, I got a position teaching preschool full-time that has stemmed into a young five's teaching position while receiving my Child Development Associate Certification. However, I have always been interested in beauty, fashion, and art. When I stumbled into Mary Kay one day for a free facial, I realized that this was a job I could see myself doing. I have sales experience and am very knowledgeable of beauty products and makeup. I decided, on a whim, that I had nothing to lose and that I'd sign up to be an independent beauty consultant. Why not? I put in my first inventory order, began learning about the company, and here I am, ready to begin an exciting new chapter in my life! I feel that being new is great for me because anyone who likes my page will be able to learn and grow alongside me, and I believe that is a great asset towards relationship-building with my customers. So, here I am, teacher by day, independent beauty consultant by night.
