Sara's Home Cakery

Hi my name is Sara Madrie and I run Sara's Home Cakery out of my home. One day iIhope to own a full on bakery but this is where I am starting from. I have been baking for as long as I can remember and learned most of what I know from my grandmother, Nanny. I have been decorating cakes for the past 5-6 years and it is my passion and what I love to do. All my cakes are custom made for each customer. No premade templates to choose from. Each design is tailored to you the customer. If you have a pic of a cake you like I can replicate or come up with a completly original design. Prices are based on the size of the cake as well as the amount of work it will take to create your design. I do not work with fondant and instead do all my designs in buttercream thats smoothed to look as good as fondant but tastes much better. My policy is that this is food, you're going to eat it, so it should taste good first and look good second. I love doing 3-D and unusual cakes. I specialze in birthday or special occasion cakes but have recently branched out and started doing some wedding cakes.
