The 9-hole "Sassamon Trace" course at the Sassamon Trace facility in Natick, Massachusetts features 2,400 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 32. The course serves the Metrowest community and plays host to about 30,000 rounds of golf each year.
The 50-acre course spans Natick’s dormant landfill and 30 acres of orchard in Sherborn, which provides a hybrid of Scottish Links and New England Farm style for golfers.
The course rating is 63.4 and it has a slope rating of 111 on Bent grass. Designed by Cornish, Silva & Mungream, the Sassamon Trace golf course opened in 2001.
General manager and Golf Professional Pete Meagher offers adult and youth golf instruction during the spring and summer. Pete has been a PGA Golf Professional since 1988 and is also the varsity golf coach for the Natick High School Golf Team.
