POLICIES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ORDERING
At this time, we accept PayPal, Debit/Credit Cards, and cash (for local orders).
For all orders, a deposit or payment in full will be required when placing an order.
For all items with a set price (such as bows, jewelry, tutus, etc.) full payment will be required up front.
For all custom orders requiring an estimate, a deposit ( based on the estimated total ) must be paid before processing can begin.
This deposit is non-refundable after 24hrs.
Once the order is complete, the deposit will be applied to the final invoice.
Estimates for Custom Orders:
Most custom orders cannot be determined with a set price as many different factors are involved for each situation. In these cases an estimate will be given upon request prior to placing an order. The estimate does not reflect the actual final price of the order. It is merely to give an idea of the final price based on approximate cost of supplies and other miscellaneous expenses and to acquire a deposit amount based on this price. The estimated total does not include processing cost ( as this is determined by the amount of time required to complete the order ). The final price will be calculated and determined accordingly once the order has been completed. By accepting this estimate and placing the order you are agreeing to pay the calculated deposit upon acceptance of the estimate as well as the total adjusted price prior to or upon completion of the order before your order can be shipped/picked up.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Processing on RM/RTS (ready-made/ready to ship) items usually takes 1 to 3 business days.
On all made-to-order and custom orders please allow a minimum of 1-2 weeks for processing.
Some orders may require longer processing than others. There are no guaranteed processing deadlines on all orders. Please be aware of this before placing your order as there will be no cancellations or refunds do to extended processing time.
Extended processing times are expected during peak seasons: Fall, Winter, & Holidays.
During this time, it is recommended to allow an additional 1 to 2 weeks for processing.
Items will usually ship within 2 to 3 business days after payment and processing have been completed.
You should receive an email within 24 hours after your order has been shipped.
Average shipping time within the continental US is 5 to 7 days. For international orders please allow additional time for shipping - usually 14 to 21 days. Some international orders may incur additional fees due to customs and may cause a delay in shipping. These fees are the responsibility of the addressee and returns will not be accepted due to unpaid customs fees.
Delivery times are not guaranteed. Shipping times and procedures may vary by location and are dependent upon the courier.
Once your order has been shipped it is no longer in our control.
We are not liable for delayed shipments due to couriers or customs.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Insurance and tracking are included on most orders.
All orders weighing over 13oz and valued over $25 will automatically include insurance and tracking.
For all others insurance and/or tracking are available by request for an additional fee.
We primarily use USPS or UPS for most shipments however you may request the courier of your choice depending on the availability in our location.
Once an order has been shipped it is the responsibility of the courier and therefore we cannot be held accountable for anything that happens to the order beyond that point.
Refunds will not be issued due to lost or damaged packages during shipping.
If you do experience either of these we encourage you take dated pictures of the damaged packaging and product and to contact the courier with your tracking number to file a claim for reimbursement.
Once you have received the reimbursement, if you would like to resubmit your order we can remake it (or repair it if damaged) to your specifications and ship it with a different courier at your request. Please contact us immediately with details before resubmitting your order or sending it in for repairs.
CANCELLATIONS
Changes and cancellations for any order must be made within 24 hours of placing the order.
Any order change or cancelled beyond this point may incur additional fees or be subject to a partial or no refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.
RETURNS
If you are not satisfied with your order, provided it meets all conditions we will offer you either a store credit, exchange, or refund based on your reason for return.
Returns are subject to approval and may or may not require a restocking fee prior to refund.
You must contact us before returning any item(s). Items returned without prior approval may be refused or accepted with a partial to no refund.
All approved returns must be returned within 15 days or 30 days for international orders from date of shipment .
CONDITIONS:
Exchanges and refunds are subject to the following conditions:
-You must contact us immediately for approval and to receive a return form
-You must return all item(s) within 15 days from the date of shipment (30 days for international orders)
-Return the item(s) in original sale-able condition
-Your return item(s) must not be soiled, washed, used or worn
-Original tags must be attached to the garment (if applicable)
-The return form must be complete
-Include a copy of the invoice with the return item(s)

Returns of the following item(s) are not acceptable:
-Custom Items
(This includes all clothing and accessories made to buyers specifications, anything personalized with name, initials, phrases or any other customization specific to the buyer)
-Sale item(s)
-Hair Accessories
-Earrings
-Under Garments/Diaper Covers
-Any items that are hygiene specific
Sassy Katz Studio (& Boutique) reserves the right to refuse an exchange, credit or refund for any reason including failure to comply with any of the conditions listed above.
Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
CUSTOM ORDERS:
No exchanges or refunds on custom orders.
Returns for custom orders will not be accepted except for the following reasons:
-Faulty Item
If you believe you have received a faulty item(s) please contact us immediately with photos via email at support@sassykatzstudio.com. If the item(s) have a minor problem, we will repair it and return it to you as soon as possible. If you choose to keep the item rather than repair it, we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the item(s) have a major fault we will offer you a replacement, credit, or full refund depending on the item in question.
-Incorrect Order
If you receive the wrong order contact us immediately for a return form and instructions for your return. We will refund the return shipping cost to you and send you the correct order.
-Adjustments or Repairs
Custom orders are made specifically to the measurements you provide. Therefore, returns will not be accepted due to improper fitting. However if for some reason your order does not fit or is in need of repair due to shipping damages, in some cases alterations can be made without incurring additional service fees. If you would like to find out if your order qualifies you may contact us with details.
-Extreme Difference in Expectation
If your item(s) do not meet the negotiated expectation set when placing the order you maybe be eligible for an exchange, credit or refund depending on the situation.
Each order is handmade and designed by the artist therefore slight differences and variations in each item can be expected. Custom designs are based on your (the customer's) details and specifications and require approval from you (the customer) before payment and processing can occur.
Photos of works other than by Sassy Katz Studio and associates can be used ONLY to provide an example for style, theme and color. The artist(s) of Sassy Katz Studio WILL NOT duplicate the work of any other artist for any reason and under no circumstances. If you like the work of another artist then you should purchase that work directly from that artist.
Therefore any work done by and purchased from Sassy Katz Studio & Boutique will not and should not be expected to look like the work of another.
As a result if the item(s) you receive meet the original design agreed upon but your expectations were that of another artist's work then this DOES NOT qualify for a return.
However, if you believe the final product is far from the negotiated design you maybe approved for a return. If this is the case you should contact us with details, concerns, and photos at support@sassykatzstudio.com to begin the return process. Once your return is approved you will need to ship the item back with tracking within 7 days of approval to qualify. Once your return item has been received a decision will be made for the proper compensation.
If possible, your item will be altered to suit your expectations and returned to you at no additional costs.
If alterations are not possible, you will receive the option to remake your order to your specifications, or to receive a store credit or full refund.

CHANGE OF MIND:
Returns due to a change of mind WILL NOT be accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse an exchange, credit or refund for any reason listed or not listed.
