Savannah Veterans Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Research Program

Our research offers veterans of OEF/OIF/OND two first-line treatments with proven effectiveness for post-traumatic stress symptoms. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either Prolonged Exposure Therapy, which is a specialized type of “talk therapy” designed specifically to help people with traumatic stress and/or enhanced medication therapy with Sertraline (generic Zoloft). The studies take place at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center - Savannah Clinic
