We are a group of citizens and organizations
advocating for the preservation of 99 acres of land that has been designated "conservation" for 32 years and has been on the FWC's acquisitions list for 14 years. The property is known as "the Outpost" and is owned by the Ponte Vedra Corporation (PVC). A triangular parcel at the end of Neck Road in Palm Valley, Florida, the Outpost is almost completely surrounded by GTMNERR - the only National Estuarine Research Reserve on Florida's east coast. One mile of the Outpost borders Guana River, designated Outstanding Florida Waters, "deemed worthy of special protection because of its natural attributes."
