Save Parrie Haynes Ranch

Texas Representative Hartnett from Dallas District 114, introduced HB 244 this legislative session. If this bill passes the Department of Family and Protective Services will have the authority to sell the Parrie Haynes Ranch.

Parrie Haynes Ranch is comprised of two distinct parcels, the East Unit at 13816 North Maxdale Road and the West Unit at 201 Gann Branch Road. The ranch is situated along the Lampasas River on more than 4,500 acres of Hill Country terrain teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees and crystal clear streams.

If this ranch is sold it would be a huge loss to the people of Texas that enjoy it for all kinds of recreational activities.
