SCA & Tutoring Center

The mission of the SCA Tutoring Center is to support and empower our students to rise as high as their God given abilities, therefore achieving academic success through our intervention and supplemental educational services. This will be accomplished by providing a positive environment conducive to learning, professional and qualified tutors, our comprehensive diagnostic assessment and an individualized learning plan. Our tutors are challenged to not only master the traditional scientifically research based teaching methods but to think outside of the box, creating and teaching new methods which will contribute toward creating a new educational paradigm.

Emphasis on One-to-One Tutoring

At SCA, we understand that your child is unique. That's why we take great pride in our custom-tailored, individualized tutoring sessions with our qualified tutors. Not every student has the same learning habits. Therefore, we work with each student and his/her tutor to ensure an effective tutoring session. These session not only allows students to improve academically, they provide an opportunity for students to become more confident in themselves and build on leadership skills that will help them in and out of the classroom.

We understand the importance of education. Beginning in the early formative years it is of the utmost importance that we educate our children, equipping them with the skills that will eventually empower them to become independent, successful learners. As parents, we want our children to have the best opportunities in life, and to be able to grow into productive members of society and ultimately the future leaders. At SCA, we help make this a reality.

The SCA Tutoring Center offers tutoring and enrichment programs year-round for students ages 3 or 4 through college. Tutoring includes remediation, acceleration and most of all it gives each student the possibility to reach their full potential. Its never too early or too late to begin!

We understand that you have many choices available. There are many schools that provide after school tutoring for students that are having difficulty in school. However, there is research that indicates that these programs are inefficient and time consuming. Although free, these programs are not individualized for your child and primarily focus on homework completion. This is ineffective and not a permanent solution. The SCA Tutoring Center will provide your child with life long skills to become a better learner.

We know each student is different. So, at SCA, we offer each student a custom-tailored learning plan to fit their academic needs. We take measures to provide students with the resources they need to succeed. Here are some of the steps that we take at SCA:
