Scales and Shells Tortoise Haven and Sanctuary

Scales and Shells is here to provide a forever home to tortoises and box turtles that are no longer wanted or have out grown their owners ability to care or love them . Sadly many pet owner are not educated about the needs of their pets when they buy them and rely on the pet store were purchased to have all the answers . This is were the real problems begin , most pets shops are there to sale animals an pet products and don't always know much about some of the pets they sale so bad advice is given from the start . So please if you have a pet tortoise or box turtle or any reptile you can not care for or no longer have room for due to the size your pet has reached or any reason call us we will take them in an will not pass judgment at all !!! All the tortoise and boxies we take in will have a loving home here for life , all other reptiles will be rehomed with other sanctuaries or will just stay with us until the very best home becomes available !!!!
