Schaller Jacobson Collision and Automotive Repair

My grandfather, Julius Raatz, started repairing cars in LaCrosse in 1945. My father, Leslie Jacobson came to LaCrosse in 1955 from Spring Grove, MN and started Jacobson Auto Body at 1619 Chase Street. In 1981 Vince Schaller, who ran a frame and alignment shop next door retired, and his business was purchased resulting in Schaller/Jacobson Collision and Alignment Repair. We had 4 employees.

In 1995 the business expanded to 12 employees and relocated to our new facility on 4115 Mormon Coulee Rd.
The mechanical building at 4131 Mormon Coulee Road (next door) was added in 2000. This location added 4 full time employees.
This allowed Schaller/Jacobson to do all aspects of auto repair, mechanical, collision, and alignment.
One year later, 2001 Schaller/Jacobson purchased Noffke Body Shop in Onalaska. It was run as Noffke until 2010. Then incorporated it as Schaller/Jacobson. We have 12 employees at that location
