Scott Hayes Karate

Sensei Scott has taught for 20 years, beginning in 1994. Sensei Scott opened his dojo in the Glendale / Hidenwood / Riverside area in March of 1996. Scott Hayes Karate is the longest, continuously active, Okinawan Karate School in Newport News.

Our Karate school teaches Shorin-Ryu Karate. We are a member of the Shorinkan Association under Hanshi, Judann Shugoro Nakazato and Hanshi Judan Minoru Nakazato.

Scott Hayes Karate has been in continuous operations since March of 1996. School was renovated April 2010.

Sensei Scott has taught seminars in the United States, Canada, and Bermuda.
