Scott is a village in Paulding and Van Wert counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 286 at the 2010 census. The Van Wert County portion of Scott is part of the Van Wert Micropolitan Statistical Area.HistoryScott was platted in 1882 by J. T. Scott, and named for him.
