On behalf of the University Student Research Committee, we are pleased to announce the 2015 SDSU Student Research Symposium and invite all SDSU students and recent alumni to participate in this exciting event.
The Student Research Symposium is a two-day event to recognize the outstanding scholarly accomplishments of SDSU students. The SRS provides a public forum where SDSU students present their research, scholarship, or creative activities. Presentations, whether oral, poster exhibit or performance, are organized by academic disciplines with divisions for undergraduate, masters and doctoral students.
Ten students will receive Presidential Awards, $500 each, to recognize their outstanding achievement in original scholarship. These students will go on to represent SDSU at the CSU Student Research Competition. In addition, Dean’s Awards, $250 each, will be given to two students from each college, and Provost Awards, $150 each, will be given for outstanding poster presentations.
All SDSU students—including those who graduated after spring 2014— are encouraged to submit an application to present either preliminary or completed results from their original research.
