Sea Breeze is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Hanover County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,969 at the 2010 census, up from 1,312 in 2000. The racial makeup of the CDP was 81.94% White, 15.85% African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.61% Asian, 0.23% from other races, and 0.99% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.52% of the population.There were 546 households out of which 23.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.0% were married couples living together, 6.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.3% were non-families. 19.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 2.74.
