Newly remodeled in late 2013 and re-christened Seahorse Sanctuary, this beautiful and spacious beachfront home rejuvenates the spirit with breathtaking views and bright, beach-inspired colors.

Seahorse Sanctuary’s wonderful oceanfront deck is only steps away from the water’s edge and a semi-private beach. Take a morning walk along the seashore to discover the rich treasures of seashells, sea glass and shark teeth offered up by the prior night’s tide. Swim, surf or boogie board in the warm waters of the Atlantic. Build your best sandcastle. Discover sand crabs and other small creatures that make the beach their home. Or, just curl up in a comfortable Adirondack chair with a cold beverage and good book, drinking in the beautiful Atlantic Coast sunshine while watching the pelican as they glide the wave crests in search of fish.

Inside, enjoy a wall-to-wall window view of the Atlantic Ocean from anywhere in the open-concept living area, where a granite-countered kitchen overlooks a large, inviting family room. Take an afternoon nap on the comfy lounging sofa. Play games or assemble a puzzle on the large glass coffee table. Watch a good movie on the 42” LED HDTV.

For those who don’t want to lift a finger, Surf City and Sneads Ferry are only few minutes drive away, each boasting wonderful restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Alternatively, cook in a well-appointed kitchen with ample dining area. Inside is an 8-seat, beach-chic dining table, plus bar counter seating for 4 more. (Two 4-top tables are also located on the covered deck for those who want to dine or just enjoy drinks and conversation outdoors.)

With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, sleeping arrangements are exceptionally designed to be equally comfortable for guests ranging from small families to larger groups of up to 12 people. The upstairs master suite pampers with a king size bed, Jacuzzi tub, shower, and a private balcony with Adirondack chairs for drinking your morning coffee while watching the sun rise over pods of dolphin. Sharing an upstairs full bathroom are the Seabird and Bunk Rooms. The Seabird Room comfortably sleeps from 1 to four, with a queen bed and a daybed with trundle. The Bunk Bed Room also sleeps up to 4 on two sets of twin bunk beds. Downstairs, the Lighthouse Room includes another king size bed and has access to a full downstairs bathroom. Cable television is included in all but the Bunk Room.
