SeaVentures Swim

SeaVentures swimming program is a combination of several nationally recognized swim programs. We take the best ideas from those programs. It is formatted with low child to instructor ratios and works at the pace of your child. Use of Plexiglass Platforms in the water allows the children to stay warm in the water, rather than sitting on the side of the pool while waiting for their turn, and allows them to practice kicking and breathing skills while the teacher is working with others in the class.

Each child develops differently and between the ages of 12 months to 5 years your child will go through many developmental stages. Our Preschool Swim Program is designed to work in line with your child's progress. We emphasize learning safety in the water, feeling comfortable and confident, learning the proper techniques, as well as having FUN!

Our Gradeschool Program is designed to work on developing proper strokes from the beginner classes through to our advanced classes. These classes work with your child's ability without putting an emphasis on competition. We try to eliminate the bad habits and form the correct strokes so your child can enjoy a lifetime of swimming. Seasonally, we offer Stroke Clinics for competitive swimmers.

Our Adult classes have a very low 4:1 student to instructor ratio. These classes will start with your beginning point, not that of others. If you are a first-timer, we work at your comfort level. If you're already a swimmer and want a few pointers to make your strokes stronger, we can do that, too! Our classes are placed at the end of the day to accommodate work schedules as well as avoiding an audience of the Preschool/Gradeschool swimming students.
