About Traci:

I can already tell you that I know you can throw a rock and hit at least a dozen photographers in any direction. I know I have spent my life's ambition in a field of already too many professionals. So I would like to take a moment and explain why I think my work maybe a little different than others.

10 years ago, I lost my only sibling to cancer. I had worked at a studio for over 10 years at this point learning not by the book, but by instinct and hard work. It was those long nights after I lost him that brought me to realize exactly how powerful a portrait could really be. It wasn't just a moment in time, but a reminder of the good memories we shared and laughter that helped erase what I witnessed in his last days. It was then that I decided to go to school for art and photography. I am now only a few semesters short of a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Kentucky. It was there that I learned my passion is not only in photography, but in painting a picture with light to show relationships and truth. As I tell my grandfather when he asks how much longer is it going to take me to learn to push a button, anyone can push that button, but its the person that anticipates when to do it and at what exact moment is who I want behind my camera.

Ashley:

I have worked in different portrait studios in the Lexington-Fayette area, but my lifelong dream has been to branch out with my own business and let my creativity run wild to deliver the best photographs for my customer's needs. Thanks to my business partner and dear friend, these dreams are finally starting to become a reality!
