The Sheridan Economic and Education Development Authority (SEEDA) is a joint powers board formed in accordance with Wyoming law by the City of Sheridan and Northern Wyoming Community College District. As a joint powers board SEEDA has access to state grants and other resources that enable it to carry out real estate transactions and develop property for economic development purposes.
SEEDA may reduce the sales price below the market or appraised value if the project has significant economic benefits to the community and is compatible with the economic development plan(s) endorsed by SEEDA.
SEEDA will consider any sales with deliberation and dispatch with one meeting for information and a second meeting for action – both sessions will be held in Executive Session as a confidential matter as provided in the Wyoming Open Meetings Law- §16-04-405.
