Sellew Belle Glade Excel Charter School

Built upon the foundation of LSF’s PEPPI’s Head Start Child Development Center in Belle Glade, open for more than 30 years,the first of Lutheran Services Florida’s Excel Charter Schools, the Sellew Belle Glade Excel Charter School, is accepting students in Kindergarten through grade 5. Excel Charter School is a free public charter school, with no tuition fees.

The program will unite parental support and active involvement in children’s education with an effective, innovative curriculum that promotes academic achievement, creative problem-solving skills, and positive character values that encourage good citizenship and help create a well-rounded child. The school will encourage academic success by engaging superior instructional staff, maintaining small class sizes and ensuring low student-teacher ratios.

The school will have up-to-the-minute technology available, including iPads for all students.
