The racial makeup of the CDP was 69.36% White (52.9% were Non-Hispanic White,) 17.32% African American, 0.47% Native American, 0.90% Asian, 0.35% Pacific Islander, 8.09% from other races, and 3.50% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 26.28% of the population.There were 875 households out of which 37.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.0% were married couples living together, 20.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.5% were non-families. 17.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.91 and the average family size was 3.22.
